It’s “Reiki II: The Inner Teachings ~ A Reiki Level II Retreat” time at Freebird Valley. Let’s strengthen our connection to the life-force through deeper presence and meditation! Or a more playful way of speaking to the Reiki Level II experience – “Let’s get symbolized!” It is always a pleasure to guide people deeper into the heart of Reiki with level II, “The Inner Teachings,” and I am stoked to be able to do it in the stunning, crisp, light-filled air of the Rocky Mountains.
In Reiki I, you learn to channel reiki for cleansing, balance and healing. Physical touch is emphasized through hands-on healing. Reiki II invites you to expand your consciousness and go beyond physical touch. You will be given 3 symbols and their 3 related mantras in order to begin exploring the deeper mysteries of consciousness that hold possibilities for healing emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. With these teachings, “distance healing” also becomes possible as it is realized that consciousness is not limited by time or space.
Reiki II invites you to go deeper in your exploration of universal life-force energy (rei-ki) while also encouraging play, curiosity, and wonder. Though there will be a new level of presence and reverence experienced working with Reiki, as well as a deeper connection to your Self, learning these new symbols and mantras will also be fun and endlessly intriguing. Your understanding of your Self and Reiki will grow, and as in Reiki I, you will have plenty of class time to practice and gain confidence in your level II practice.
